Physical therapy is VERY important after you have a major or even a minor orthopedic surgery. We want you to return back to the physical ability you were at before the surgery or better! If you don’t participate in physical therapy, your abilities in the injured area might take longer to heal and could possibly not return to its original functionality or get worse.
